his life
On Saturday, May 20, 2006 at 5:09 a.m. a beautiful baby boy was born. A truly miraculous gift from God. He weighed 7 lbs. 0.7 oz. and was 20 inches long. He had the chubbiest cheeks I have ever seen on a newborn. At first he gave us a scare because he wasn't breathing like he should have been. I guess he did things his own way right from the start. I was in labor for three days with him and after 22 hours of active labor he decided he was ready. His daddy along with the nurse delivered him. He had beautiful round blue eyes. He had eyes just like his Uncle Robert. For the first seven weeks he demanded to be nursed from 5pm to 10 pm. Which I am grateful for that time that was just ours to bond. As he got older his personality became stronger. He had such a serious personality. But when he smiled it made your whole day. All he ever wanted was someone to talk to him. No matter what he was going through he smiled. He loved his daddy so very much! The moment he walked in the door he would start kicking and waving his arms and clicking his tongue. He knew when his daddy took off his shoes at the door the first place he was going was to see him. He had a special and different bond with each person in his life. Almost as if he knew he wouldn't be here long. So he left each of us something special to remember him by. Something very personal to the individual that no one else shared with him. He was perfect in every sense of the word. From his hair down to his toes. He was just beautiful. And heaven is so lucky to have him.
